WHY CHOOSE US

0+ Years of Unwavering Trust

A Legacy of Learning. A Future of Excellence.
Established in 1980–81, YJR DMS College of Engineering, Machilipatnam is one of the oldest self-financed engineering institutions in Andhra Pradesh, carrying a proud legacy of quality technical education and academic excellence. As the first engineering institution in Machilipatnam, the college has evolved with changing times while preserving its strong foundation of values, discipline, knowledge and service to society. Today, the institution is managed by Sujana Academy of Technology and Science (SATS) and continues its journey towards innovation-driven education, industry readiness and holistic student development. Following its demerger in March 2025, the institution was renamed Yalamanchili Janardhana Rao Daita Madhusudana Sastry College of Engineering, honouring the legacy of Late Sri Yalamanchili Janardhana Rao and Late Sri Daita Madhusudana Sastry. Located near the historic coastal town of Machilipatnam and close to Manginipudi Beach, the campus provides a peaceful environment supported by modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, advanced laboratories and digital learning facilities.
